
Ammoniakhavnen is an advanced dive site in the Little Belt, Denmark, reaching an impressive maximum depth of 42 meters. This deep harbor dive combines industrial underwater architecture with the Little Belt's renowned tidal currents and rich marine life. The harbor structures and steep underwater slopes plunge to significant depths, with dense marine growth on every surface. Large cod, lobsters, and wrasses are abundant in the current-swept waters. The extreme depth, powerful currents, and cold bottom temperatures make this strictly for experienced divers with advanced or technical certification. When timing is right, visibility can be exceptional. Ammoniakhavnen is one of the Little Belt's most challenging and rewarding dives, offering deep cold-water thrills.
