Snoghøj is an advanced dive site near Fredericia in southern Denmark, located at the narrowest point of the Little Belt strait. This site is famous for its powerful tidal currents that create some of Denmark's most exhilarating diving. The strong flow sweeps past rocky substrate covered in dense mussel colonies, kelp, and anemones. The nutrient-rich current attracts impressive concentrations of marine life including large cod, lobsters, sea trout, and sometimes harbour porpoises. Diving here requires precise slack-water timing and strong current-management skills. When conditions allow, visibility can be exceptional. Snoghøj is considered one of Denmark's top dive sites, offering a wild, current-swept experience unmatched in Scandinavian waters.
