Karrebæksminde Bridge is an intermediate dive site in southern Zealand, Denmark. This bridge dive offers an interesting underwater experience with the bridge pilings creating substantial artificial reef structures. The concrete columns are colonized by dense mussel beds, anemones, and hydroids that attract a rich community of fish and invertebrates. Cod, wrasses, flatfish, and crabs shelter around the pilings, while schools of smaller fish hover in the current. Moderate tidal flow through the bridge area accounts for the intermediate rating. Visibility depends on tidal and weather conditions. Karrebæksminde Bridge is a popular dive for Zealand-based divers seeking a productive bridge dive with reliable marine encounters in a convenient location.
