Ærøsund M-F is an intermediate dive site in southern Denmark's Syddanmark region. This strait between the islands offers drift diving through the Ærøsund channel, where tidal currents carry divers past a rich marine landscape. The seabed features sand, gravel, and shell hash with rocky patches supporting kelp forests and dense mussel beds. Cod, flatfish, wrasses, and schools of herring are commonly encountered, along with crabs and occasional lobsters. The intermediate rating reflects the need to manage current and plan for drift-dive logistics. Visibility varies but can be good when conditions align. Ærøsund M-F provides an exciting and biologically productive dive experience in Denmark's scenic southern archipelago.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
