Den Gamle Lillebæltsbro is an advanced dive site in southern Denmark, located beneath the Old Little Belt Bridge connecting Jutland to Funen. This iconic bridge dive offers an extraordinary underwater experience with massive concrete bridge pilings rising from the seabed. The pilings are thickly colonized by mussels, anemones, and soft corals, creating vertical reef ecosystems. Large cod, lobsters, and crabs inhabit the structure's base, while schools of fish swirl around the columns. The Little Belt's strong tidal currents demand advanced skills and precise tide-window planning. Visibility can be excellent when conditions align. This is one of Denmark's most legendary dive sites, combining dramatic architecture with prolific marine life.
