Waltraud Behrmann Wreck is an intermediate wreck dive in southern Denmark's Syddanmark region. This cargo vessel rests on the seabed of the Danish straits, providing an engaging wreck dive experience. The ship's structure has been colonized by dense growths of mussels, anemones, and hydroids, transforming it into a thriving artificial reef. Cod, wrasses, and large crabs shelter among the wreckage, while schools of fish patrol above. The wreck's size allows for interesting exploration around the exterior and some accessible interior sections. Moderate currents and variable visibility in the area account for the intermediate rating. The Waltraud Behrmann offers a compelling mix of maritime history and vibrant marine ecology.
