Osterstrand

Osterstrand is an advanced dive site in southern Denmark's Syddanmark region. This exposed coastal dive features strong currents and surge that demand solid diving experience. The rugged seabed includes rocky reefs, boulder fields, and deep kelp forests that support an impressive density of marine life. Large cod, lobsters, and wrasses are regularly encountered, and the current-swept environment attracts schools of fish feeding in the nutrient-rich flow. The advanced conditions mean this site is weather-dependent and requires careful planning around tide and swell. When conditions cooperate, Osterstrand rewards experienced divers with some of the richest marine life encounters in southern Denmark's coastal waters.
