
Cayacoa Reef is a beginner-friendly dive site in Juan Dolio, Dominican Republic, known for its healthy coral formations and abundant reef fish. The reef system features brain corals, elkhorn coral patches, and fields of sea rods creating a vibrant underwater garden. Trumpetfish, blue tangs, and yellowtail snappers are common sightings. The moderate depth and clear waters make it excellent for both diving and snorkeling, with easy boat access from nearby dive centers.
