Abu Sawatir

Abu Sawatir is a beginner-friendly reef near El Quseir offering easy shore access and calm diving conditions. The site features a gentle sloping reef with scattered coral heads and sandy patches. Colorful reef fish including anthias, damselfish, and wrasses populate the coral formations, while blue-spotted stingrays rest on the sandy areas. The shallow depth and minimal current make it an excellent choice for training dives and snorkeling, with good visibility year-round.
