El Mohgar

El Mohgar is a relaxed beginner dive site near El Quseir with a gently sloping reef and easy shore entry. The site features a mix of hard coral formations and sandy channels where garden eels sway in the light current. Colorful parrotfish, angelfish, and butterflyfish are common sights, while the sandy areas host gobies with their shrimp partners. The reef's accessibility and calm conditions make it ideal for night dives, revealing Spanish dancers, hunting lionfish, and bioluminescent plankton.
