Farwell is an advanced dive site in the Hamata area of Egypt's southern Red Sea, typically the last dive on a liveaboard itinerary hence its name. The site features a dramatic reef wall descending into the abyss, with strong currents bringing exciting pelagic action. Hammerhead sharks, grey reef sharks, and large Napoleon wrasses are regularly encountered. The wall is decorated with enormous gorgonian fans and black coral trees. This remote site offers some of the most thrilling wall diving in the Egyptian Red Sea.
