Gotha Abu Diab is an advanced offshore dive site in the Hamata area known for encounters with large pelagic species. The reef rises from deep water, creating a current-swept pinnacle that acts as a magnet for marine life. Hammerhead sharks, silky sharks, and oceanic whitetip sharks are all possible sightings here. The reef walls are adorned with massive gorgonian fans and fields of soft corals. This is one of the most exciting and remote dive sites in Egypt's southern Red Sea, accessible only by liveaboard.
