Sha'ab Sataya (Dolphin Reef) is one of Egypt's most famous dive sites near Hamata, home to a large resident pod of spinner dolphins. The horseshoe-shaped reef creates a protected lagoon where up to 200 dolphins rest, play, and socialize. Snorkelers and divers can enjoy extraordinary close encounters as the dolphins swim freely around them. Beyond the dolphins, the reef walls offer beautiful coral gardens and diverse fish life. This magical site is a highlight of any southern Red Sea liveaboard itinerary.
