El Mina Wreck is an advanced dive at a sunken vessel near Hurghada in Egypt's Red Sea. The wreck sits on a sandy bottom and has become heavily colonized by both hard and soft corals over the years. Large groupers have taken up residence in the engine room, while lionfish patrol the upper decks. The interior is accessible to experienced wreck divers, revealing cargo holds populated by glassfish in shimmering clouds. Strong currents occasionally sweep the site, adding to the challenge of this rewarding exploration dive.
