The Excalibur Wreck is an intermediate dive at a deliberately scuttled vessel near Hurghada in Egypt's Red Sea. The intact wreck sits upright on a sandy bottom, providing excellent penetration opportunities for trained divers. The superstructure is adorned with soft corals while large groupers have claimed the engine room as territory. Schools of batfish circle the wheelhouse, and frogfish are occasionally spotted on the hull. The moderate depth makes it accessible to certified divers, offering one of Hurghada's most atmospheric wreck diving experiences.
