
Turtle Bay is an intermediate dive site near Hurghada in Egypt's Red Sea, named for its exceptionally high concentration of resident green and hawksbill sea turtles. The sheltered bay features healthy seagrass beds that provide the turtles' primary food source, alongside coral reef sections with typical Red Sea fish diversity. Multiple turtle encounters per dive are virtually guaranteed. The moderate depth and reliable conditions make it a must-visit for turtle enthusiasts and underwater photographers based in Hurghada.
