Sadana is an advanced offshore reef near Safaga, home to the historic Sadana Island shipwreck dating back to the 18th century. The reef itself features dramatic walls with excellent soft coral growth and large gorgonian fans. The deeper sections reveal remnants of the ancient vessel scattered among the coral formations, creating a fascinating blend of history and marine life. Strong currents bring nutrient-rich water supporting schools of barracuda, trevallies, and occasional reef sharks. A unique dive combining archaeology and world-class reef diving.
