Habili Gaffar is an advanced submerged reef in the Saint Johns area, a small pinnacle rising from deep water that serves as a magnet for pelagic life. The reef's walls are adorned with dense soft coral growth and sea fans, while the limited reef top hosts cleaning stations busy with groupers and wrasses. The deep blue surrounding the reef is where the action happens — hammerhead sharks, grey reef sharks, and occasionally manta rays pass through. The site's exposed position means currents can be strong, requiring precise timing and experienced dive planning.
