Marsa Salim

Marsa Salim is a beginner-friendly bay dive in the Saint Johns region, offering a protected mangrove-fringed inlet with calm waters. The site features seagrass beds frequented by green turtles and a gentle fringing reef with healthy hard coral coverage. The shallow bay is ideal for training dives and provides excellent snorkeling opportunities. Schools of mullet and goatfish forage in the shallows, while the reef edge hosts colorful angelfish and butterflyfish. A peaceful contrast to the region's dramatic offshore reefs.
