Sha'ab El Nos is a beginner-friendly reef in the Saint Johns region, offering a relaxed dive on a gentle coral slope. The site features healthy hard coral formations with good fish diversity, providing a welcome contrast to the area's more challenging deep dives. Schools of surgeonfish and fusiliers patrol the reef, while turtles graze on the reef top. The site's name means 'Half Reef,' referring to its semicircular shape that creates a sheltered area perfect for calm diving. An excellent option for less experienced divers on Saint Johns liveaboard trips.
