
Ras Za'atir is a beginner-friendly dive in the Ras Mohammed area near Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt's Red Sea. The reef features a wide coral plateau with excellent hard coral diversity, including rare species unique to this part of the Sinai coast. Schools of surgeonfish, parrotfish, and unicornfish graze along the reef edge. The site's calm, sheltered position makes it suitable for all experience levels, while the exceptional coral health in this nationally protected area provides a showcase of Red Sea reef biodiversity at its finest.
