Laguna Reef is an intermediate dive site in the Strait of Tiran, Egypt's Red Sea, located in a sheltered area between the main Tiran reefs. The lagoon-like setting offers calmer conditions than the exposed reef walls while still providing excellent marine diversity. Healthy coral formations host a wide variety of reef fish, while the sandy channels between coral heads reveal stingrays and garden eels. Turtles are regular visitors. Laguna Reef provides a more accessible Tiran experience for divers not ready for the powerful drift dives.
