Zingara is an advanced dive site at the northern end of the Strait of Tiran, Egypt's Red Sea. This remote reef catches powerful currents flowing between the Egyptian and Saudi coastlines, creating exceptional pelagic diving. Hammerhead sharks are the primary draw, with large schools often visible in the current during cooler months. The reef walls are covered in pristine soft corals and massive gorgonian fans. The combination of challenging conditions, remote location, and world-class shark encounters makes Zingara one of the most sought-after advanced dives in the Tiran strait.
