La Pared Amarilla is an advanced dive site off La Herradura on the Costa Tropical, reaching 30 meters depth along a distinctive yellow-tinged underwater wall. The wall's color comes from the golden cup corals and yellow sponges that densely cover its surface, creating one of the most visually striking underwater landscapes in the area. Large groupers and conger eels inhabit the wall's overhangs, while schools of barracuda and dentex patrol the open water beyond. Gorgonian fans add purple and red accents to the golden palette. The depth, potential currents, and exposed offshore location demand advanced skills, but the unique coloration and rich biodiversity make La Pared Amarilla a memorable dive.
