Museo Atlántico is Europe's first and only underwater art museum, located off the coast of Playa Blanca in southern Lanzarote at a maximum depth of 15 meters. Created by artist Jason deCaires Taylor, this beginner-friendly site features over 300 life-sized sculptures arranged in twelve themed installations on the seabed. The concrete figures are designed to promote marine life colonization, and they have become thriving habitats for sponges, algae, and schools of fish. Divers swim through haunting underwater gardens, walls of people, and a children's playground, all gradually being reclaimed by the ocean. This unique fusion of art and marine conservation offers a truly one-of-a-kind diving experience in the Canary Islands.

One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
