Alfred is a beginner-friendly wreck dive in Western Finland, featuring the remains of a vessel resting in the relatively shallow waters of the Archipelago Sea between Turku and the Ã…land Islands. The wreck's accessible depth and calm, protected location make it suitable for divers new to wreck exploration. Baltic marine life has colonized the structure, with blue mussels, hydroids, and bladderwrack creating a living reef on the old hull. Perch and pike circle the wreck, drawn by the shelter it provides. The Archipelago Sea's thousands of islands create naturally protected dive conditions, and Alfred serves as an excellent gateway to Western Finland's rich wreck diving heritage.
