Helsingfors Wreck is an intermediate wreck dive in the Archipelago Sea of Western Finland, where a historic vessel rests in the sheltered waters between the thousands of islands that characterize this unique maritime landscape. The wreck sits at a moderate depth suitable for experienced recreational divers, with its structure largely intact thanks to the cold Baltic conditions. Marine growth including blue mussels and hydroids covers the hull, while perch and pike have adopted the wreck as their territory. The site offers excellent wreck diving practice in relatively protected conditions, making it popular with Turku-area diving clubs progressing through their wreck certifications.
