Plantation Pinnacles is an advanced dive in the Mamanuca Islands, Fiji, where several large coral pinnacles rise from deeper water to create a dramatic underwater seascape. The pinnacles are covered in healthy hard corals and soft coral gardens, with each tower attracting its own resident community of reef fish. Strong currents between the pinnacles draw in pelagic species — reef sharks, barracuda, and large trevally hunt around the structures. The deeper base of the pinnacles often reveals whitetip reef sharks resting on the sand. Advanced buoyancy control is essential to navigate between the pinnacles without damaging the delicate coral growth. A top-tier Mamanuca dive for experienced divers.
