Batéguier, with its petit and grand tombants (small and large drop-offs), is a dive site off the Îles de Lérins near Cannes on the French Riviera. Located near Île Sainte-Marguerite, this site offers an accessible introduction to wall diving in a protected island setting. The small drop-off provides a gentle descent suitable for beginners, while the grand tombant extends deeper for more experienced divers. The walls are decorated with gorgonians, yellow sponges, and colorful encrusting organisms. The sheltered position between the islands and the mainland ensures calm conditions most of the year. Fish life is abundant, with wrasse, sea bream, and octopuses commonly seen along the rock faces.
