La Roche d'Aurelle is an advanced dive site in the Estérel offshore area near Agay, featuring a massive underwater rock formation rising from the sandy seabed at 37 meters. This isolated pinnacle acts as an oasis of life in the open water, attracting dense concentrations of fish and invertebrate species. The rock's surfaces are covered with vibrant gorgonian gardens, bryozoans, and yellow cluster anemones. Large groupers have established territories around the base, while schools of dentex, saddled bream, and barracuda sweep past in the current. The characteristic red Estérel porphyry gives the rock a warm, distinctive color even at depth. La Roche d'Aurelle is a rewarding offshore dive for experienced divers exploring the Estérel coast.
