L'Insuma is a deep wreck dive off the eastern coast of Cap Corse near Bastia in Corsica. This vessel rests at around 40 meters on the seabed, its structure now serving as a thriving artificial reef in the clear Corsican waters. The wreck is heavily colonized by gorgonians, red coral, and sponges that give it a colorful appearance even at depth. Conger eels, groupers, and scorpionfish inhabit the hull structures, while schools of dentex and barracuda patrol the perimeter. The advanced depth combined with occasional currents around Cap Corse requires experience and careful planning. L'Insuma rewards capable divers with an atmospheric deep wreck dive in one of the Mediterranean's most beautiful settings.
