Pelouzo Island is an advanced dive site off the southeast coast of Zakynthos, reaching 18 meters around a small rocky islet in the Ionian Sea. Despite the moderate depth, currents around the island can be strong, justifying the advanced rating. The submerged perimeter offers a diverse landscape of walls, boulders, and sandy corridors. Sea turtles are frequently spotted in this area, along with groupers, octopuses, and schools of damselfish. The combination of marine life richness and the dramatic island backdrop makes Pelouzo a highlight of Zakynthos diving.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
