Black Coral Wall is an advanced deep dive off Utila, Honduras, plunging to 50 meters along a sheer wall draped in magnificent black coral trees. These slow-growing antipatharian corals form dense forests in the deeper sections, creating an otherworldly underwater landscape. The wall also hosts large gorgonian fans, barrel sponges, and vibrant soft corals. Reef sharks, eagle rays, and large pelagic fish patrol the deeper water, while the shallower sections feature healthy hard coral gardens. This site is a highlight for experienced divers seeking dramatic deep-wall Caribbean diving.
