Planka is an advanced dive site in Croatia's Central Adriatic near Cape Planka (Rt Ploča), one of the most exposed points on the Dalmatian coast. The underwater terrain features dramatic rock formations and walls battered by Adriatic currents, creating challenging but exhilarating diving conditions. The current-swept environment supports exceptional marine biodiversity including large gorgonian forests, dense sponge colonies, and schools of pelagic fish. Dentex, amberjack, and occasionally tuna patrol the blue water, making Planka one of the Central Adriatic's most exciting and demanding dive sites.
