Punta Rata is a beginner-friendly dive site in Croatia's Central Adriatic near the famous Punta Rata beach in Brela. The shallow rocky reef extends from the scenic coastline into clear turquoise waters. The underwater terrain features smooth limestone formations interspersed with posidonia meadows, hosting ornate wrasse, damselfish, and painted comber. Octopuses and cuttlefish frequent the rocky crevices, and the site's gentle profile and calm conditions make it an ideal introduction to Adriatic diving with the stunning Makarska Riviera coastline as a backdrop.
