Orud

Orud is an advanced deep dive in Croatia near Šolta and the Drvenik islands, plunging to 40 meters along a dramatic underwater reef. The site features impressive vertical walls with dense gorgonian forests and large sponge gardens in the deeper sections. The exposed position attracts schools of dentex, amberjack, and occasional barracuda, while the wall's ledges shelter groupers, lobsters, and moray eels. Strong currents can develop, requiring careful dive planning, but the exceptional marine biodiversity and visibility make Orud one of the most rewarding deep dives in the Split archipelago.
