Considered Mahahual's best drop-off, 40 Cañones Reef sits five minutes from the dock and features spectacular canyons cutting through the barrier reef. The site name references the nearby Banco Chinchorro wreck, but this coastal version offers its own drama — dramatic coral canyons with sheer walls dropping into blue water.
