Chinchorrito — 'Little Chinchorro' — is the northernmost dive from Mahahual village, featuring expansive sandbanks dotted with shallow reef hillocks. The open terrain is excellent for pelagic encounters: green turtles graze on seagrass, spotted eagle rays glide over sand, moray eels peer from coral hideouts, and colonies of garden eels sway in the gentle current.
