Hin Kuak Maa, known as Three Fingers, is an intermediate dive site in the Koh Rang National Park near Koh Chang, where three rock pinnacles rise from the seabed to twenty meters depth creating one of the most distinctive underwater formations in the eastern Gulf of Thailand. The three fingers of rock that give the site its name provide concentrated habitat that supports impressive marine biodiversity within the park's protected waters. The three pinnacle formations create a varied dive environment, with each finger offering slightly different coral coverage, fish communities, and topographical features. The spaces between the pinnacles form channels where current can concentrate, attracting schooling fish and creating dynamic diving conditions. The twenty-meter depth provides enough challenge for intermediate divers while keeping conditions manageable. The national park's protection is evident in the reef health at Three Fingers. Coral coverage is excellent, with diverse hard coral species creating the structural framework and soft corals adding color to the deeper sections. The fish community is abundant and includes species in sizes that reflect reduced fishing pressure. Three Fingers is one of the standout dive sites in the Koh Chang area. The combination of distinctive triple-pinnacle topography, protected marine environment, and the diverse marine life creates an intermediate dive experience that showcases the very best the eastern Gulf has to offer.
