The T11 Wreck is an advanced dive site near Koh Chang in the eastern Gulf of Thailand, where a smaller vessel rests at fifteen meters depth providing atmospheric wreck diving at an accessible depth. The relatively shallow position of this wreck makes it one of the more manageable wreck dives in the Koh Chang area while still demanding the awareness and skills that wreck environments require. The wreck sits on the Gulf bottom with enough structural integrity to provide interesting exploration opportunities. The vessel's compact size means it can be thoroughly explored during a single dive, with the exterior circumnavigation and selective interior viewing providing a complete wreck diving experience. Marine colonization has added biological interest to the metal structure. Fish have adopted the wreck as permanent habitat, with schools of snappers and batfish among the most prominent residents. The wreck's crevices and internal spaces shelter groupers, lionfish, and various invertebrates. Soft corals and sponges coat the hull surfaces, and the overall transformation from vessel to reef is well underway. The advanced rating at fifteen meters reflects the wreck environment rather than extreme depth. Navigation around and potentially within the structure, awareness of overhead hazards, and the disorientation that wreck environments can create all demand skills beyond basic recreational diving. The T11 Wreck adds a compact but rewarding wreck option to the Koh Chang diving portfolio, complementing the massive HTMS Chang with a more intimate wreck experience at a shallower, more forgiving depth.
