Big Seal is an advanced dive site at the Seal Rocks area off the mid-north coast of New South Wales. This dramatic underwater pinnacle drops to 40 meters and is one of the premier shark diving sites in Australia. Grey nurse sharks aggregate here in large numbers, particularly during winter months. The site also features spectacular gorgonian gardens, large schools of trevally and kingfish, and occasional visits from bull sharks and hammerheads. Strong currents and depth demand advanced skills.
