
Latitude Rock is a beginner-friendly dive site near Port Stephens on the NSW mid-north coast. At 16 meters depth, this rocky reef formation offers excellent temperate diving with diverse marine life. The rock is covered in sponge gardens and soft corals, hosting wobbegong sharks, cuttlefish, nudibranchs, and various reef fish. The site is part of the Port Stephens-Great Lakes Marine Park and benefits from the mixing of warm and cool currents that enhances biodiversity.
