
Buchanan's Wall at South Solitary Island is an intermediate dive site in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. This impressive wall drops to 30 meters and is covered in dense soft coral growth, large gorgonian fans, and colorful sponge gardens. The wall attracts grey nurse sharks that cruise along the drop-off, along with schools of trevally, kingfish, and eagle rays. The vertical terrain and occasional currents require intermediate skills but reward divers with spectacular underwater scenery.
