
Grey Nurse Gutters, also known as Shark Gutters, at South Solitary Island is a beginner-friendly dive site in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. At 18 meters depth, this site features a series of rocky gutters where critically endangered grey nurse sharks rest in the sheltered channels. The gutters provide reliable shark encounters in a relatively shallow and accessible setting. Beyond sharks, the site hosts diverse reef life including wobbegong sharks, turtles, and colorful nudibranchs.
