Plate Coral at South West Solitary Island is a beginner-friendly dive site in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. At 16 meters depth, this site is named for its impressive formations of large plate corals that create tiered underwater structures. The unique blend of tropical and temperate waters supports exceptional biodiversity, with sea turtles, anemonefish, and nudibranchs among the highlights. The relatively shallow depth and moderate conditions make it accessible to most certified divers.
