
Egg Rock is a beginner-friendly dive site in the Port Stephens area of New South Wales. At 18 meters depth, this egg-shaped rock formation offers excellent temperate reef diving with diverse sponge gardens and soft coral coverage. The site is home to wobbegong sharks, cuttlefish, nudibranchs, and schools of yellowtail. Its location in the Port Stephens-Great Lakes Marine Park ensures healthy marine ecosystems, and the manageable depth makes it accessible to most certified divers.
