Runaway 10

Runaway 10 on San Salvador is an advanced wall dive that begins on a gentle reef slope before plummeting over a sheer drop-off into the deep waters of the Columbus Passage. The wall starts at approximately 10 meters and falls beyond 60 meters, its face decorated with massive purple sea fans, deepwater gorgonians, and prolific black coral gardens. Caribbean reef sharks patrol the wall edge while large yellowfin groupers lurk in the crevices. The consistent current brings nutrient-rich water that supports exceptional coral growth and attracts schools of horse-eye jacks.
