Amigo's Wreck

Amigo's Wreck off Ambergris Caye in Belize is an advanced wreck dive on a deliberately sunk cargo vessel that has become a thriving artificial reef along the Belize Barrier Reef. The wreck sits at depth on a sandy bottom, its structure covered in sponges, hard corals, and whip corals swaying in the current. Large groupers and moray eels have made the interior their permanent home, while the upper decks attract dense schools of snappers and grunts. The surrounding visibility along Belize's barrier reef system ensures dramatic views of the entire wreck silhouette against the blue.
