Tuckle Bucket Canyon off Ambergris Caye is a beginner-friendly canyon dive through a wide, gently sloping groove in the reef structure. The canyon walls rise just a few meters on either side, creating a sheltered corridor decorated with sea fans, tube sponges, and brain corals. Yellowtail snappers and blue tang schools accompany divers through the passage, while lobsters and moray eels peek from crevices in the walls. The moderate depth and protected nature of the canyon make it an excellent introduction to canyon diving without the strong currents found at deeper sites.
