Tres Cocos off Ambergris Caye is a popular beginner dive site named for three coconut palms visible from the water on the nearby shore. The shallow reef system features a gentle sandy slope dotted with coral patches and seagrass beds that attract a remarkable diversity of marine life for such a calm, easy site. Manatees are occasionally spotted in the area, along with resident green turtles and large schools of blue-striped grunts. The site's proximity to San Pedro town makes it a convenient first dive of the day, with reliable conditions and consistently good visibility year-round.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
